Putting customers first, Hardware & General have upgraded all their delivery services. Our New Premium Delivery Services has four levels of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum service.
BRONZE DELIVERY is the Free Delivery Service we’ve always offered, and that’s a great service, if you’ve got plenty of time and a simple drop-off. With this service, we deliver goods the day after they’re ordered, completely free, between 6.30am and 4.30pm. These deliveries are done on a “milk run” so the route is optimised for the driver. Again, it’s a free service and perfect if delivery time is not an issue.
SILVER DELIVERY is an Extended Reach Service. That means we’ll deliver anywhere in New South Wales. If you’re in the Central Coast, we’ll deliver out of Blacktown, for a very competitive flat rate. For the rest of New South Wales, the charges are calculated according to delivery size and location. Of course, H&G always try to be as competitive as possible, with those charges. Special requests for this service are typically completed on Saturdays, and the costs are finalised by our Distribution Manager.
GOLD DELIVERY is our Precision & Special Handling Service. Meaning, for a set of flat rate charges, we can do craned and timed deliveries, both locally and remotely. Craned deliveries can be placed up to 10 metres from the truck, right into the site. If the conditions are right, we can even crane to the first floor, saving your crew a lot of time and energy.
PLATINUM DELIVERY is our Express, Same Day, Service. When one of those situations arises, when you need materials on site NOW! H&G’s Platinum delivery is the answer. If you order something, and ask for express, same day delivery, we will do everything in our power, to get your goods to you as soon as humanly possible. Again, this service has flat rate charges for local and remote deliveries, which you can see in the table below.
