WHAT WAS INVOLVED IN THE RENOVATION?
Before the renovation, a timber bridge crossed the courtyard to a deck on top of the carport. Whilst the materials are all new, the concept of the bridge remains. Although, now as part of the kitchen, the gaps between the internal decking boards allow light to transfer into the hallway and study below. The structure from the existing bridge was milled and reused for the kitchen island.
