Hardware & General is a family owned company which commenced trading in 1960 with a handful of employees. Over 50 years later the company employs approximately 400 people, providing many families with stable employment.

Brookvale Location

Sales Person – Taps/Bathrooms
We require an energetic sales person with knowledge of Taps and Bathroom fittings. You will have; great customer service skills and be computer savvy. Training in H&G products will be provided.

Sales Person – Fencing Department
We require an experienced sales person. You will have excellent customer service skills & be computer literate. Product knowledge in areas of Fencing & Balustrade is a bonus, although product training will be provided.

Sales Person – Tiles
We require an energetic Sales person, knowledge of Tiles will be an advantage. You will need to have great customer service skills and be computer literate. Training in product provided.

MR Driver – Delivery Department:
You will require experience in delivery. Must be customer service orientated, neat and presentable and hold a current MR License.

Yard/Sales Persons
A current forklift license is mandatory. You will have experience operating a forklift, and you will be physically fit & computer literate.

Sales Person – Building
We require an energetic Sales person, with knowledge of building supplies will be an advantage. You will have great customer service skills and be computer literate. Training in product provided.

Dural Location

Manager – Building Supplies

You will have excellent product knowledge in all areas of Building Materials, ability to grow sales, great customer service & leadership skills, previous staff & time management experience, problem-solving ability, able to monitor & analyse KPI’s & be computer literate.

The successful applicant will have skills in the following areas

  1. ability to drive and meet sales targets
  2. strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with our customers
  3. develop your team’s skills in sales and merchandising and stock control
  4. business plan developments
  5. ensure product range meets customers needs

Sales Rep
We require an energetic Sales Rep, with knowledge of the Building Materials Product category.
You must posses the following attributes:
