Hardware & General is a family owned company which commenced trading in 1960 with a handful of employees. Over 50 years later the company employs approximately 400 people, providing many families with stable employment.

Brookvale Location

Sales Person – Taps/Bathrooms
We require an energetic sales person with knowledge of Taps and Bathroom fittings. You will have; great customer service skills and be computer savvy. Training in H&G products will be provided.

Sales Person – Plumbing Department
We require an experienced sales person. You will have excellent customer service skills & be computer literate. Basic product knowledge in areas of Plumbing is required, additional product training will be provided.

Sales Person – Building Department
We require an experienced sales person. You will have excellent customer service skills & be computer literate. Basic product knowledge in areas of Building materials is required, product training will be provided.

Sales Person – Concretors Department
We require an experienced sales person. You will have excellent customer service skills & be computer literate. Basic product knowledge in areas of Concretor supplies is required, additional product training will be provided.

Sales Person – Sheet Materials Department
We require an experienced sales person. You will have excellent customer service skills & be computer literate. Basic product knowledge in areas of plasterboard and sheeting is required, additional product training will be provided.

Manager – Bathroom Department

You will have excellent product knowledge in all areas of Bathroom supplies and accessories, ability to grow sales, great customer service & leadership skills, previous staff & time management experience, problem-solving ability, able to monitor & analyse KPI’s & be computer literate.

The successful applicant will have skills in the following areas

Mona Vale Location

Sales Person – Plumbing
Be a part of a team environment, product knowledge in the areas of Plumbing is a huge bonus.
You will have; great customer service skills and be computer savvy. Training on H&G products will be provided.

Peakhurst Location

Manager – Locks

You will have excellent product knowledge in all areas of Locks and Door furniture, ability to grow sales, great customer service & leadership skills, previous staff & time management experience, problem-solving ability, able to monitor & analyse KPI’s & be computer literate.
